Ron Porter, a renowned magician with many decades of experience, is celebrated for his captivating close-up magic and performances at prestigious venues. He has been featured in the Close-Up Gallery at the world-famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, and his charm and audience engagement have made him a favorite at VIP gatherings, exclusive private clubs, and Fortune 500 corporate events.
Beyond his entertainment prowess, Ron holds a Ph.D. in psychology and has made significant contributions by combining his love of magic with his educational training. He has designed team-building events for large corporations and health facilities, and has presented workshops on the therapeutic uses of magic. As a Founding Director of David Copperfield's Project Magic, he has worked directly with patients, trained health professionals, and helped make a remarkable impact in many therapeutic environments.
Ron is a rare double honoree by Marquis Who’s Who ® for his contributions to both the Entertainment and Psychology Industries.

40+ years of membership to the Academy of Magical Arts® and its clubhouse, the World Famous Magic Castle®, where he has been a featured performer in its most intimate theatre, the Close-Up Gallery.
